Bronco Max: Error 32/34
Error 32/34 indicates that the ribbon is not rotating properly in the BroncoMax.
DuraLabel printers calibrate ribbon upon lid closure to reduce wrinkles and ensure optimal print quality. If the ribbons cannot rotate, the printer will present this error. In most cases, reloading the ribbon will resolve the issue but on occasion it can indicate that the tach sensors on the ribbon motors need replaced. It can also indicate a defective cartridge in the BroncoMax.
Troubleshooting:
- Ensure that the ribbon is from DuraLabel by confirming the part number. Bronco Max ribbon will start with M... This information can be found on the supply box or the printer icon in the top right corner of LabelForge Pro. Bronco Max ribbon will also have a part number on the label next to the ribbon chip. If the printer is showing a "!" icon over the supply icons when looking, it may not display the part number and the supply box or label on the cartridge will be needed.
- Remove the ribbon cartridge from the Bronco Max printer and re-insert the ribbon ensuring that the brake tabs on the cartridge are positioned above the grey notches along the rail.
- One way to make sure that the tabs are positioned properly is to apply slight pressure to the left rail as the ribbon cartrdige is being loaded.
- Load a new or different ribbon into the printer to determine if issue is with the current ribbon or all ribbons.
- If error continues, contact Tech Support or your Account Manager for further instructions.
