Let's go over a quick walkthrough of the Chemical Labeling Module in LabelForge PRO, showing how to choose an authority type, search for chemicals, and adjust details pulled from chemical records. It highlights how to edit names, numbers, hazard symbols, and statements to match what is listed on an SDS.
The video also demonstrates how to update supplier information and explains key differences when printing with systems like the Toro Max or Kodiak Max Systems. For those needing a deeper, SDS-driven process, a more advanced tutorial is provided separately.
1. Open the Chemical Module 0:24

On the left-hand side, select the 'Chemical' option to open the chemical module.
2. Select Authority Type 0:32

Choose 'US/OSHA Hascom' or 'GHS tape' as your authority type.

Click 'OK' to proceed.
3. Change Authority Type (if needed) 0:50

To change the authority type later, click the flag in the top left corner and select the appropriate option from the list.
4. Search for a Chemical 1:29

Use the search bar at the top to find a chemical (e.g., type 'chlorine' and hit enter).

You can also search by UN number, CAS number, or EC number.
5. Edit Chemical Information 2:07

Click the pencil icon on the right side to edit the chemical name and numbers as needed.

Type any additional information in the designated area above the SDS console.

Review the selected hazard symbols.

Click on the settings option to adjust for your printer (e.g., Toro Max or Kodiak Max).

Ensure 'Print Diamond Borders' is unchecked for Toro Max.
