How to Load DuraLabel Bronco Max
Learn how to load your DuraLabel Bronco Max Industrial Sign & Label Print System with vinyl supply and ribbon so you can start printing signs and labels quickly. This step-by-step tutorial walks through opening the printer, removing existing supply, loading Premium Vinyl Supply, aligning it on the platen roller, and installing Premium Quick Load Ribbon cartridge so you are ready to start printing!
1. Open the printer and clear any existing materials 0:05
- Face the printer toward you for easier access.
- Release the front latch and open the lid.
- Pull the lid back fully.
- Remove any supply that is already in the printer before loading new materials.
2. Load the Premium Yellow Vinyl Supply 0:22
- Gather the Premium Yellow Vinyl Supply box.
- Feed the spindle through the center of the vinyl roll.
- Place the spindle and roll into the supply well.
- Pull the vinyl forward so it feeds correctly into the printer path.
3. Position and secure the vinyl supply 0:46
- Lower the cutter to improve visibility while positioning the material.
- Use the two guides to align and lock the vinyl supply in place.
- Confirm the supply is seated correctly.
- Make sure the vinyl is resting on the platen roller.
4. Load the Premium Black Ribbon 1:08
- Raise the cutter back up after the vinyl is loaded.
- Open the Premium Black Ribbon package.
- Remove the top cover from the ribbon cartridge.
- Insert the ribbon with the smart tag facing the printer.
- Slide it into place, lock it, and close the lid.
5. Finish setup and prepare to print 1:33
- Confirm the printer is fully loaded.
- Connect the printer to your computer.
- Power down as instructed.
- Begin creating signs and labels once the system is ready.
Cautionary Notes
- Premium Vinyl Supply and Premium Quick Load Ribbon Cartridges are sold separately.
- Do not force the vinyl or ribbon into place; verify alignment before locking components.
- Make sure the vinyl is properly seated on the platen roller to avoid feeding issues.
- Remove any existing supply before loading new material to prevent jams or misfeeds.
