In this video, we walk through how to use the Symbol Creator tool in LabelForge PRO to create custom symbols for your labels. You’ll learn how to upload images or company logos, convert them into SVGs, adjust settings like transparency and cropping, and then add them to your personal symbol library for quick use in Label Designer.
1. Access the Symbol Creator Tool 0:00
- Open the Symbol Creator tool from the DuraLabel interface.
- A new window will appear with various options.
2. Load an SVG/Image File 0:26
- Click on 'Load SVG/Image'.
- Select the desired file (e.g., company logo) from your computer and click 'Open'.
3. Adjust Output Settings 0:47
- Review the output of your SVG image.
- Adjust the filter thresholding or ignore spec size sliders if necessary.
4. Set Transparency Options 1:04
- Check the 'Opaque' option if you want to add transparency to the image.
- Leave 'Backfill' unchecked for a transparent background.

- Click on 'AutoCrop' to resize the symbol to fit the edges of the image.

- Click on 'Add to Collection'.
- Optionally change the name of the image file in the pop-up window and click 'OK'.

- Click on 'Create New Label'.

- User symbols will appear at the top; select the desired symbol.
