Toro Max: Error 14

Error 14 indicates that the cutter faceplate of the Toro Max printer is currently open.

Troubleshooting:

  1. Begin by powering the printer off. Once the printer is powered off open the lid of the printer and then close the cutter faceplate if opened. If the cutter faceplate is closed open and close the faceplate while the printer is off.
  2. Close the lid and power the printer back on to see if the message still persists.
  3. If the cutter was recently cleaned and the plastic cover removed, ensure that the plastic cover was reinstalled onto the cutter.
  4. If error continues, contact Tech Support or your Account Manager for further instructions.
